Sun Over Mountain. Oil on canvas 10″ x 10″ (254 x 254mm)

As so often with the creative process one sits with an idea in mind, but the painting develops and takes on a life of it’s own. Under this painting is a close up view of a Daffodil, this is no longer visible to the eye, as the painting began to take form so a new and stronger image came through. Inspired by Japanese art and landscape this painting flowed from Lesley’s mind, with the Daffodil awaiting birth when the time is right!
